The more you listen to your breath, the more you can hear the voice of your soul.

About This Quote

When you sit down to meditate, do not try to find the answer to the question, of what is life? Instead, I would suggest you focus your attention on the very act of breathing. As you breathe, become aware of your breath. Try to hear inside yourself the sounds of air entering and leaving the body. With practice, you will begin to hear a voice inside yourself that is your own inner sage.

It is unlikely that your inner sage will be able to answer your questions about life or anything else. However, by listening more closely to your inner voice you will begin to recognize its rhythm and rhythm of your soul. The more you listen, the more you can hear the rhythm of your soul.
